The Revelation.

Testing, testing, can everyone read this? Hello? *waves hand in front of screen*

Okay, I’m just going to go right head, read at your own peril!

Hi and welcome to the Harper Impulse blog – today on the agenda; we’re about to find out who the brains (questionable) are behind the Harper Impulse social media accounts! We’ve had a lot, and by a lot, I really do mean A LOT of requests about who the mysterious people are behind our hilarious (correct!) Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The person (or people?) who keep calling you guys food/animal nick names and offer to eat treats on your behalf when you do favours for us. Today.. you’re about to find out. Brace yourselves my sweet clementines..

And. Here it is. A never before seen picture of the very person running these accounts (and writing this blog post).

… okay JUST KIDDING! (Cute though, right?) Anyway. So the REAL HUMAN behind this account is.. well me. HI. My name is Sahina, and I’m the Digital Marketing Assistant at Harper Impulse. I am the slightly insane individual who tweets, posts and rambles on all the Harper Impulse accounts – aided and abetted by Charlotte (hey fearless Gerbil leader, if you’re reading this!) who you know as the truly lovely Editor on Harper Impulse and Harper Fiction. Here’s a little bit about me below, before I whizz off to tweet more cat and pizza gifs.

Describe yourself in 100 words or less:

*takes deep breath*

  1. Digital Marketing Assistant @HarperImpulse / @HarperFiction. Ravenclaw (and a little bit Slytherin when food is involved). I’m not good with the advice, can I interest you in a sarcastic comment? Passionate (but probably not a very good) long distance runner, rightly rewarding myself with a burger afterwards. Also an obsessive reader, avid blogger, amateur graphic designer, keen photographer, shady seamstress.. and that’s it. Oh wait, no, I think I can fit one mor-

What do you love about your job?

The fact that I actually get encouraged to tweet/post ridiculous and fun things to make you guys laugh, smile, and get you all involved in the crazy community that is Harper Impulse. I’m an avid photographer, so getting to spend a small portion of my day taking aesthetically pleasing Instagram pictures is a dream come true. I do also work.. *bangs on keyboard* of course I do real work.

What do you dislike about your job:

Sometimes I find it hard to disengage from online! Which is why you’ll find I’ve been RT-ing you and replying to your Facebook comments at 3am on a Sunday…

If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be:

PASTAAAAA. Pasta is life. I am made up of 90% pasta and 10% cheese.

What movies could you watch over and over and still love?

Bend It Like Beckham, Jurassic Park (the first one, obvs), Mean Girls, The Devil Wears Prada.

Do you have a spirit animal:

A llama.. can you see a theme here?

ANYWAY.

Thank you my lovely peanut butter cups for reading this very, very long post! You can find me on the following channels if you want to embark on discussing pasta, llamas and books.

  1. Waves, Sahina – lovely to find out more about the person behind the craziness!!! All I can say is – pasta … drool and nice to meet another 3am social media stalker. Isn’t that was those early hours were made for? Keep doing what you’re doing and thank you! x
