Roland Moore created the award-winning  returning BBC1 drama series, Land Girls and was lead writer on series one to three. During this time, the series won the Best Daytime Programme in the Broadcast Awards and four RTS Midlands Awards (including Best Drama). The series has been sold to territories around the world and been translated and dubbed into various languages. Why is the Second World War still such a big draw for romance writers and book readers?
